

Each story is followed by appropriate nursery rhymes and drama activities which encourage oral skills in the children and playing skills in both children and adults.

1. MISS MIGGINS’ CAT
Forgetful Miss Miggins loses her cat. It is found at the top of a tree and Miss Miggins cannot get it down!

2. THE CAT AND THE FOX CUB
One night the fox cub enters the hen run. The next morning Miss Miggins fears the worst when her cat is missing but all ends happily and the cat finds a new friend.

3. MISS MIGGINS AND THE SQUIRREL
Miss Miggins loses a much valued ring. She is very sad but the squirrel who lives in a nearby tree solves the mystery for her.

4. MISS MIGGINS AND THE GUINEA PIG
The day after Miss Miggins finds a lost guinea pig in her garden she receives an unusual reward.

5. MISS MIGGINS AND THE KOALA BEAR
Miss Miggins is given a koala bear as a present from her aged uncle. Unfortunatelythe gift causes Miss Miggins a lot of problems.
