An exciting story, which takes place on a fairground. It seems as though a lost ring will lead to the closure of the fairground but two robbers unwittingly save the day.

A railway set is used for the children to see the way in which the trains operate.

1. THE EXPRESS TRAIN
Uncle Bill averts a crisis as two trains, travelling on the same line, are about to crash.


3. THE LEVEL CROSSING
Aunty Betty must close the level crossing gate to pedestrians as the train is due. The gate is jammed and will not move; the train is coming and blind Joachim, who is also deaf, is about to walk across the line... All is saved by Mrs Edwards.

4. RETIREMENT
Uncle Bill must retire but he does not want to. Then an unexpected find in the garden by Aunty Betty changes both their lives.
